Origin Iran, format 236 × 315 cm — a Heriz made entirely by hand. The covered area is about 7.43 m² (7.7' × 10.3'). Heriz rugs usually carry a bold, angular central medallion.

Materials and construction

Construction: 100% new wool in the pile over a 100% cotton foundation. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.

A large format for open-plan rooms or formal reception spaces.

On the knot count

The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.

How it reads

Colour is recorded as red and orange. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
