About this rug
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Tabriz of 202 × 265 cm. That is roughly 5.35 m² of floor, about 6.6' × 8.7'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Materials and construction
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. Construction method: hand-knotted. Pile height is given as 5-7mm.
Format and use
The rug is rectangular. Large enough to hold a full seating group.
