This Tabriz comes from India and measures 175 × 260 cm. It covers approximately 4.55 m², or 5.7' × 8.5'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Materials and construction
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 10-12mm.
