Overview
This Tabriz comes from Iran and measures 257 × 360 cm. The covered area is about 9.25 m² (8.4' × 11.8'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Materials and construction
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.
