About this rug
Hand-knotted in India: a Tabriz of 240 × 240 cm. It covers approximately 5.76 m², or 7.9' × 7.9'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
What it is made of
Stated material: cotton warp. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.
Where it fits
The rug is round. A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.
On the knot count
The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². Knotting at this density allows detailed drawing and soft transitions between colours.
Colour and appearance
The stated colourway is Weiß / beige. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
Age and condition
Stated condition: new.
