Hand-knotted in Iran: a Shiraz of 162 × 270 cm. The covered area is about 4.37 m² (5.3' × 8.9'). Shiraz rugs come from a nomadic weaving tradition.

Stated material: new wool. It is entirely hand-knotted. Pile height is given as 5-7mm.

The rug is rectangular. Large enough to hold a full seating group.

The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². Knotting at this density allows detailed drawing and soft transitions between colours.
