Overview
Origin Iran, format 201 × 299 cm — a Tabriz made entirely by hand. It covers approximately 6.01 m², or 6.6' × 9.8'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
What it is made of
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. Construction method: hand-knotted. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.

A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.
Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
How it reads
Colour is recorded as red and orange, Weiß / beige. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
