Wool Persian Rug 205 × 300 cm, hand-knotted

The piece in short

This Oriental rug comes from Iran and measures 205 × 300 cm. That is roughly 6.15 m² of floor, about 6.7' × 9.8'.

What it is made of

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. Construction method: hand-knotted. Pile height is given as 12-15mm.

Size and placement

The rug is rectangular. A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.

On the knot count

The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². Knotting at this density allows detailed drawing and soft transitions between colours.

On the colourway

Colour is recorded as red and orange. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
