Hand-knotted in Afghanistan: a Gabbeh of 200 × 280 cm. It covers approximately 5.6 m², or 6.6' × 9.2'. Gabbeh rugs favour simple, open designs and a thick pile.

Materials and construction

Stated material: new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 10-12mm.

The rug is rectangular. Large enough to hold a full seating group.
