Overview
Origin Iran, format 67 × 300 cm — a Nain made entirely by hand. The covered area is about 2.01 m² (2.2' × 9.8'). Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
What it is made of
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 5-7mm.

The format suits the space in front of a sofa, a small dining table, or a study.
Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.
Colour and appearance
Colour is recorded as Weiß / beige. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
