Overview
A Tabriz from Iran, measuring 204 × 312 cm. The covered area is about 6.36 m² (6.7' × 10.2'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. Construction method: hand-knotted. Pile height is given as 5-7mm.

The rug is rectangular. Large enough to hold a full seating group.
Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 400,000–499,999 knots/m². Knotting at this density allows detailed drawing and soft transitions between colours.
