Overview
Hand-woven in Pakistan: a Kilim of 106 × 153 cm. The covered area is about 1.62 m² (3.5' × 5').
Construction
Weft material is given as 100% new wool, warp as 100% cotton. It is entirely hand-woven.
Format and use
The format suits the space in front of a sofa, a small dining table, or a study.
How it is made
Because it is woven rather than knotted, the structure is flat and usable on both sides.
How it reads
It is catalogued under multicolour. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
