The piece in short
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Isfahan of 291 × 195 cm. The covered area is about 5.67 m² (9.5' × 6.4'). Isfahan has stood for exceptionally fine knotting for centuries.
What it is made of
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. It is entirely hand-knotted. Pile height is given as 1 cm.
Size and placement
The rug is rectangular. At this size it anchors a living room as the central surface.
Colour and appearance
Colour is recorded as multicolour, Weiß / beige. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
