About this rug

Origin India, format 198 × 310 cm — a Tabriz made entirely by hand. The covered area is about 6.14 m² (6.5' × 10.2'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. Construction method: hand-knotted. Pile height is given as 10-12mm.

The rug is rectangular. At this size it anchors a living room as the central surface.

The stated colourway is red and orange. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
