Hand-knotted in Iran: a Bijar of 300 × 200 cm. That is roughly 6 m² of floor, about 9.8' × 6.6'.
Materials and construction
Construction: Handgesponnene Wolle in the pile over a cotton foundation. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Weight is given as ap. 20 kg.
Format and use
The rug is rectangular. Large enough to hold a full seating group.

The stated knot density is 400,000–499,999 knots/m². Knotting at this density allows detailed drawing and soft transitions between colours.
On the colourway
The stated colourway is red and orange. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
