Hand-knotted in Iran: a Farahan, Sarouk of 190 × 131 cm. The covered area is about 2.49 m² (6.2' × 4.3'). Sarouk rugs are known for dense knotting and floral motifs.

The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.
Colour and appearance
The stated colourway is red and orange. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
