Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Hamadan of 83 × 131 cm. That is roughly 1.09 m² of floor, about 2.7' × 4.3'. Hamadan rugs are typically sturdy and geometrically patterned.
What it is made of
Construction: 100% new wool in the pile over a 100% cotton foundation. It is entirely hand-knotted.
Where it fits
A small format, at home in a hallway, beside a bed, or in front of a bench.
On the knot count
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
How it reads
Colour is recorded as red and orange. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
