Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Isfahan of 100 × 155 cm. The covered area is about 1.55 m² (3.3' × 5.1'). Isfahan has stood for exceptionally fine knotting for centuries.

Construction: 100% Schurwolle mit Seide in the pile over a 100% silk foundation. Construction method: hand-knotted.
Size and placement
The rug is rectangular. A format for a smaller room, or the area directly in front of a sofa.
On the knot count
The stated knot density is 800,000–899,999 knots/m². Very fine knotting of this kind takes many times the working hours and shows correspondingly precise pattern work.
Colour and appearance
The stated colourway is multicolour. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
