The stated density is 500,000-599,999 knots/sqm; over 6.67 m² that is roughly 3.7 million knots, a solid workshop density. Pile 100% silk;, warp 100% cotton. Silk both in the pile and through the foundation, so the whole rug catches light rather than only the pattern. With 6.67 m² it covers the seating area without running to the walls. Proportion 1.44:1. This is the only example of this rug; when it is gone the size and drawing do not repeat.
