The stated density is 500,000-599,999 knots/sqm — a solid workshop density. Pile 100% silk,, warp 100% cotton. Silk carries dye deeper than wool: the colours sit darker in shadow and brighter into the light. With 8.23 m² it covers the seating area without running to the walls. Proportion 1.37:1. This is the only example of this rug; when it is gone the size and drawing do not repeat.
