Around 5.6 million knots went into this piece (500,000-599,999 knots/sqm) — a knot count that balances detail against durability. Pile 100% silk, warp 100% cotton. Silk both in the pile and through the foundation, so the whole rug catches light rather than only the pattern. The cotton foundation holds it flat and dimensionally stable. At 10.24 m² it takes a sofa and two chairs with the front legs on the rug. Proportion 1.34:1. Every rug here is a single piece — there is no second one in this size and colour.
