About this rug
A Mamluk from Pakistan, measuring 102 × 155 cm. The covered area is about 1.58 m² (3.3' × 5.1').
Materials and construction
Construction: 100% new wool in the pile over a 100% cotton foundation. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.

The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.
On the colourway
