Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 142 × 85 cm. The covered area is about 1.21 m² (4.7' × 2.8'). Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
Construction
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. It is entirely hand-knotted. Pile height is given as 8 mm.

The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². Knotting at this density allows detailed drawing and soft transitions between colours.
