Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 205 × 134 cm. That is roughly 2.75 m² of floor, about 6.7' × 4.4'. Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
Construction
The pile is wool, silk, on a warp of cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Weight is given as approx. 9 kg.
