Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 262 × 316 cm. The covered area is about 8.28 m² (8.6' × 10.4'). Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
Construction
Pile material is given as 100% new wool, warp as 100% cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.

The stated knot density is 900,000–999,999 knots/m². Very fine knotting of this kind takes many times the working hours and shows correspondingly precise pattern work.
Colour and appearance
The stated colourway is blue / Türkis. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
