Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 107 × 160 cm. It covers approximately 1.71 m², or 3.5' × 5.2'. Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
What it is made of
The pile is 100% Schurwolle mit Seide, on a warp of 100% cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.

The rug is rectangular. A format for a smaller room, or the area directly in front of a sofa.
Knot density and quality
The stated knot density is 700,000–799,999 knots/m². Very fine knotting of this kind takes many times the working hours and shows correspondingly precise pattern work.
Colour and appearance
The stated colourway is blue / Türkis. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
