Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 127 × 197 cm. The covered area is about 2.5 m² (4.2' × 6.5'). Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
Construction
Pile material is given as 100% new wool, warp as 100% cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.

A format for a smaller room, or the area directly in front of a sofa.
Knot density and quality
The stated knot density is 500,000–599,999 knots/m². Very fine knotting of this kind takes many times the working hours and shows correspondingly precise pattern work.
How it reads
It is catalogued under blue / Türkis. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
