The stated density is 500,000-599,999 knots/sqm; over 3.72 m² that is roughly 2 million knots, a solid workshop density. 100% silk & 100% cotton. Silk both in the pile and through the foundation, so the whole rug catches light rather than only the pattern. The cotton foundation holds it flat and dimensionally stable. 3.72 m² suits a study or a foot-of-bed position. Proportion 1.55:1. This is the only example of this rug; when it is gone the size and drawing do not repeat.
