The piece in short
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Qom of 175 × 102 cm. The covered area is about 1.79 m² (5.7' × 3.3'). Qom is known for very finely knotted rugs, often in silk.

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. Construction method: hand-knotted. Pile height is given as 8mm.
Size and placement
The rug is rectangular. A format for a smaller room, or the area directly in front of a sofa.
On the colourway
Colour is recorded as Weiß / beige. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
