About this rug
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Shiraz of 180 × 250 cm. It covers approximately 4.5 m², or 5.9' × 8.2'. Shiraz rugs come from a nomadic weaving tradition.
What it is made of
The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. It is entirely hand-knotted.
Format and use
Large enough to hold a full seating group.
On the knot count
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
How it reads
The stated colourway is multicolour. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
