Overview
A Tabriz from India, measuring 247 × 298 cm. That is roughly 7.36 m² of floor, about 8.1' × 9.8'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Construction
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. It is entirely hand-knotted. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.
Format and use
The rug is rectangular. A format for large rooms, with space for an entire seating arrangement.

The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². Knotting at this density allows detailed drawing and soft transitions between colours.
