The piece in short
This Tabriz comes from Pakistan and measures 301 × 300 cm. That is roughly 9.03 m² of floor, about 9.9' × 9.8'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Construction
The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. It is entirely hand-knotted.
Where it fits
A format for large rooms, with space for an entire seating arrangement.
Knot density and quality
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
How it reads
Colour is recorded as multicolour. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
