Hand-knotted in Iran: a Tabriz of 145 × 105 cm. That is roughly 1.52 m² of floor, about 4.8' × 3.4'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Materials and construction
Pile material is given as wool, warp as cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Weight is given as ap. 4 kg.
