Overview
Origin Iran, format 282 × 209 cm — a Tabriz made entirely by hand. It covers approximately 5.89 m², or 9.3' × 6.9'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Materials and construction
The pile is wool, on a warp of cotton. It is entirely hand-knotted. Weight is given as ap. 16 kg.
Format and use
The rug is rectangular. A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.

Colour and appearance
