Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Tabriz of 155 × 210 cm. It covers approximately 3.26 m², or 5.1' × 6.9'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Construction: 100% Schurwolle mit Seide in the pile over a 100% cotton foundation. Construction method: hand-knotted.

The rug is rectangular. Large enough to hold a full seating group.

The stated knot density is 500,000–599,999 knots/m². A knot count at this level belongs to the upper quality class of handmade rugs.
On the colourway
Colour is recorded as Weiß / beige. Silk takes light differently from wool, so the same area can look pale from one side and deep from the other.
