The piece in short
Hand-woven in Iran: a Kilim of 175 × 235 cm. That is roughly 4.11 m² of floor, about 5.7' × 7.7'.
What it is made of
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. It is entirely hand-woven. Pile height is given as 5mm.
Where it fits
Large enough to hold a full seating group.
Weave
As a flatweave this piece has no pile: front and back carry the same pattern, and it lies very flat.
Colour and appearance
The stated colourway is blue / Türkis. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
