Construction: wool in the weft over a cotton foundation. The rug was hand-woven throughout. Weight is given as ap. 8 kg.

The rug is rectangular. A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.

Flatweave

As a flatweave this piece has no pile: front and back carry the same pattern, and it lies very flat.

On the colourway

It is catalogued under multicolour. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.

Stated age: contemporary, 0–20 years old. As a contemporary piece the pile is still even and largely unwalked.
