Overview
Origin Iran, format 330 × 247 cm — a Tabriz made entirely by hand. That is roughly 8.15 m² of floor, about 10.8' × 8.1'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
What it is made of
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 1 cm.

How it reads
Colour is recorded as red and orange. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
