The piece in short
Origin Iran, format 205 × 307 cm — a Heriz made entirely by hand. That is roughly 6.29 m² of floor, about 6.7' × 10.1'. Heriz rugs usually carry a bold, angular central medallion.
What it is made of
The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.
Size and placement
The rug is rectangular. Large enough to hold a full seating group.
Knot density and quality
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
How it reads
The stated colourway is red and orange. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
