About this rug
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Isfahan of 210 × 296 cm. That is roughly 6.22 m² of floor, about 6.9' × 9.7'. Isfahan has stood for exceptionally fine knotting for centuries.
What it is made of
The pile is 100% Schurwolle mit Seide, on a warp of 100% silk. The rug was hand-knotted throughout.
Format and use
The rug is rectangular. At this size it anchors a living room as the central surface.
Knot density and quality
The stated knot density is 800,000–899,999 knots/m². Very fine knotting of this kind takes many times the working hours and shows correspondingly precise pattern work.
