Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Isfahan of 318 × 406 cm. It covers approximately 12.91 m², or 10.4' × 13.3'. Isfahan has stood for exceptionally fine knotting for centuries.
What it is made of
The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. Construction method: hand-knotted.
Size and placement
The rug is rectangular. A format for large rooms, with space for an entire seating arrangement.
Knot density and quality
The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.
On the colourway
Colour is recorded as Weiß / beige. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
