Materials and construction
Construction: Handgesponnene Wolle in the pile over a cotton foundation. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Weight is given as ap. 18 kg.

The rug is rectangular. Large enough to hold a full seating group.
Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². Knotting at this density allows detailed drawing and soft transitions between colours.
How it reads
The stated colourway is Weiß / beige. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
Age and condition
Stated age: contemporary, 0–20 years old. As a contemporary piece the pile is still even and largely unwalked.
