Origin Iran, format 182 × 280 cm — a Kilim made entirely by hand. The covered area is about 5.1 m² (6' × 9.2').

Construction

The weave is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. The rug was hand-woven throughout.

Format and use

A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.

Weave

Because it is woven rather than knotted, the structure is flat and usable on both sides.

On the colourway

Colour is recorded as Weiß / beige. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
