The piece in short
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Moud of 260 × 200 cm. The covered area is about 5.2 m² (8.5' × 6.6'). Moud rugs are known for their fine Herati pattern.

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool, silk. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as Normal.
Format and use
The rug is rectangular. At this size it anchors a living room as the central surface.
Colour and appearance
It is catalogued under Braun / Gelb. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
