About this rug
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Moud of 63 × 92 cm. It covers approximately 0.58 m², or 2.1' × 3'. Moud rugs are known for their fine Herati pattern.
What it is made of
Pile material is given as 100% new wool, warp as 100% cotton. Construction method: hand-knotted.
Size and placement
Small enough to sit in front of a dresser or just inside a door.
Knot density and quality
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
How it reads
Colour is recorded as red and orange. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
