The piece in short
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Moud of 67 × 91 cm. That is roughly 0.61 m² of floor, about 2.2' × 3'. Moud rugs are known for their fine Herati pattern.
Construction
Pile material is given as 100% new wool, warp as 100% cotton. It is entirely hand-knotted.
Size and placement
The rug is rectangular. Small enough to sit in front of a dresser or just inside a door.
Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
How it reads
The stated colourway is Weiß / beige. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
