Overview
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 106 × 152 cm. It covers approximately 1.61 m², or 3.5' × 5'. Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
What it is made of
The pile is 100% new wool, on a warp of 100% cotton. It is entirely hand-knotted.

Fineness of the knotting
The stated knot density is 900,000–999,999 knots/m². Very fine knotting of this kind takes many times the working hours and shows correspondingly precise pattern work.
How it reads
It is catalogued under blue / Türkis. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
