Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 157 × 244 cm. That is roughly 3.83 m² of floor, about 5.2' × 8'. Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 10-12mm.

At this size it anchors a living room as the central surface.

The stated knot density is 500,000–599,999 knots/m². Very fine knotting of this kind takes many times the working hours and shows correspondingly precise pattern work.
Colour and appearance
It is catalogued under blue / Türkis. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
