About this rug
Hand-knotted in Iran: a Nain of 159 × 230 cm. It covers approximately 3.66 m², or 5.2' × 7.5'. Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.

Construction: 100% new wool in the pile over a 100% cotton foundation. Construction method: hand-knotted.

The rug is rectangular. Large enough to hold a full seating group.
Knot density and quality
The stated knot density is 900,000–999,999 knots/m². Very fine knotting of this kind takes many times the working hours and shows correspondingly precise pattern work.
How it reads
Colour is recorded as blue / Türkis. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
