The same cartoon, a different reading
This piece shares its drawing with the red-ground Rose Classic. Changing which colour carries the ground and which carries the medallion changes the whole balance of a rug: the same lachak toranj layout reads formal and warm on red, cooler and more architectural on blue. Workshops weave both because they sit very differently in a room.
Lachak Toranj
Toranj is the central medallion; lachak are the corner quarter-medallions that echo it. It is the classical Persian composition, and at 70 Raj there is enough resolution for the medallion outline to curve cleanly rather than stepping.
Placement and care
A hall, study or bedroom size. Keep it out of direct sun, vacuum with suction only, and turn it from time to time so the pile wears evenly.
